Only 30% of Americans say the U. S. is heading the right direction. Until there are policies put forth by the White House, that the majority of Citizens and Legislators agree will help solve some of the most pressing problems facing average Americans today, progress on the Obama Agenda will remain stalled in Congress.

Democrats Have All the Power

Do they simply want Republican support for political cover for unpopular policies?

 Democrats can blame themselves for gridlock. Democrats can use their Majority Vote to ram their policies through congress. Everyone knows, with reconciliation President Obama doesn't necessarily need Republican support for Health Care Reform. The majority of Americans understand how the Health Care Reform policy was created, and they soundly reject partisan legislation done behind closed doors. 61% Say Congress Should Start All Over Again on Health Care.

Relying on the President’s personal popularity without policies that the nation can get behind is no way to govern.
