Fraud and Waste of Disaster Relief Funds
Every time a new Government “give away” program rolls out, you can be sure that there will be fraud uncovered within weeks. Worldwide it is known, in America you can easily scam the system. The Government never does anything to stop fraud in any of its programs. After all Politicians may offend some voting block if they carefully examine who is qualified to receive services or where and how money is spent. It's well known you don’t even have to be a citizen anyway.
We only have to think back to Hurricanes Katrina, and Rita, to remember the long lines forming to get debit cards. People came from near and far to get their “free money”. A great deal of the fraud occurred by theft from those who were hired to administer the programs. Movies had been made about corruption in New Orleans; until hurricane Katrina, which is now politically correct after the tragic affect it has had on numerous lives. A constant joke in Louisiana was money that was for repairing the levees was used as personal piggy banks by crooked politicians.

Medicare Fraud: A $60 Billion Crime ,with no solutions in sight to stop it, and now the Democrats want Government controlled Health Care. They can’t understand why Americans don’t trust them to effectively manage a program that could impact their quality of life and the type medical care they receive. Year after year we read about this type of fraud, and yet nothing changes, and the U.S. taxpayer continues to foot the bill.
News Flash: As I pen my thoughts on this subject todays news reveals the following: Clunkers program cost taxpayers $24,000 per vehicle sold, enough said.
We all know how much the U.S. Government likes to try failed European Programs. The United Kingdom’s economy is less than Italy’s, their Health Care system is a horror, but our politicians love to emulate them.

I admit this is too huge to tackle at present. American Taxpayer’s may never be privy to what happened to the Billions of dollars passed out to Financial Institutions, or used for political payback to politician’s supporters.

The fraud in our Defense Department Contracts is well known. How many late night comedians have told jokes about $500 toilet seats? Fraud is pervasive in every aspect of American society, especially in programs managed, or mismanaged by our Government. We have: Election Fraud, Immigration Fraud, Insurance Fraud, etc.
The dollar is almost worthless; we are broke with corrupt politicians, and a failing legal system. Aren’t we just another third world country?
