Battle 2012 [update August 2011]

A NEUTRON ELECTION

The killing of Osama bin Laden, had boosted the President’s overall ratings, but poor handling of initial information by the White House managed to step on their major accomplishment. The Obama Administration has gone after Al Queda in ways the Bush Administration failed to do.

However, If the Economy does not improve soon, no amount of fawning support from the media will save the Obama Presidency. The Congress also will experience a “neutron election”, Democrats, Republicans; Progressive members of congress will all be in jeopardy. Nothing less than a new believable dynamic plan for the economy that the puts U.S. citizens back to work will save any of them.

Polls show only 26% of Americans say the U.S. is heading in right direction .

While the Administration spends major time on issues like gay marriage, illegal immigration, and unions these groups altogether are not enough to get Obama reelected for a second term. 12-14% of Americans are in unions, and the Presidents policy on immigration is at odds with the American public. 64% Still Put Border Security Ahead of Legalizing Illegals Already Here.

The Economy as a whole remains in dangerous terrority:

New Low of 26% Approve of Obama on the Economy

High Unemployment

Announced layoffs jumped in July to 66,400, a troubling 60% increase compared with June.
Just as worrisome, that's part of a trend -- July was the third month in a row for rising layoffs.

Republicans Too Narrow Focus

Republicans continue to push for no tax increases, a repeal of Obamacare and a reduction in spending. So far they have not been able to explain exactly how this will result in jobs. Their main message has concentrated on the failings of the Obama Administration. Obama Cheerleaders in the mainstream news media continue to deliver talking points, and unanimously declare there is a “weak GOP field”.

Mitt Romney expects to be GOP nominee, and so does most of mainstream media. This is early in the game and with so many potential GOP candidates, should anyone count on this happening?

NOVEMBER 2010 (REVIEW)

Who will run against President Obama in 2012?
We don’t know the answer yet, or if the President’s opposition will come from both Democrats, and Republicans. We do know that like the recent midterm elections the race will be Obama’s to win or lose.
Rep. Peter DeFazio (D-Ore.), who voted against the legislation, said on Thursday that “this [vote] is the beginning of the end of Social Security.”

Irresponsible and proof Democrats should never again have total control again of the nation’s purse strings.

Harry Reid
Logically wants the Dream Act passed for non-citizens, never mind the world in an economic spiral and most American citizens without jobs can no longer afford college tuition for their own children.
Nancy Pelosi
In the House, they endorse a discredited regime.

North Korea – Failed Policy the same as Bush Administration, so far.
This is after North Korea recently killed 40 in an attack on a South Korean Navy Vessel.

Strikeouts for the Obama Administration

China

China is a very real threat, and again like the Bush administration President Obama doesn’t have the ability to set boundaries that should not be crossed. China is not a friend and will continue to be a threat until America displays real leadership in protecting our own world interests and stop borrowing money from this communist nation.

Afghanistan

As recently as last month, American and Afghan officials held high hopes for the talks. Senior American officials, including Gen. David H. Petraeus, said the talks indicated that Taliban leaders, whose rank-and-file fighters are under extraordinary pressure from the American-led offensive, were at least willing to discuss an end to the war.

TSA - Public Outrage is not about Safety Procedures

Poor planning and incompetence displayed at TSA plans for screening at the beginning of the Thanksgiving holiday travel. The usual arrogance and intimidation displayed when citizens disagree with the administrations policies. Pat-down backlash grows during holiday travel rush.

Mistaken Moves and Party Infighting-America is in Big Trouble

All Politicians Should Be Aware

The American people are watching and will no longer accept “bringing home the bacon”, as a reason to vote for those who in their zeal want to change America into something they don’t want. At the end of the day most Americans are proud of who we are and what this nation has accomplished, and are fully aware of our faults and willing to work to correct them. We are not however willing change our form of Constitutional Government.

A Vote Against Dems, Not for the GOP
Voters don't want to be governed from the left, right or center. They want Washington to recognize that Americans want to govern themselves.

What is Next?

The 2010 Elections are behind us and we are off to a dubious start.

Let’s all hope the President remembers his promise to be President to all of the people of America, even to those who question and fundamentally disagree with his policies.
