You Do Not Have a Democracy When the Media is Compromised
When will the American Media Pay Attention?
Traditional Media is loosing both their audience and on the bottom line without question, and it’s not because of the Internet, Talk Radio, Cable TV Commentators, or Blogs. The public is leaving in droves, and not without reason. On a daily basis we are presented with lazy, sloppy, 30-second sound bites, and fragmented sentences on the crawler that pass for news reporting. Articles making accusations are written and reported on as if they are fact without any substantiating evidence. There is endless reporting on celebrity scandals, and show trials and little time is given to real investigative reporting. It was left to recent college graduates to shine the light on Acorn. There have been questions about this organizations voter fraud for years and this was known but not thoroughly questioned during the 2008 election. Non-stop around the clock reporting on gossip about the personal lives of politicians and celebrities has become the “News” of today
Whatever Happended to the "American Free Press"? For years both the print and television media have become too heavily involved in taking sides on political issues, most are not brave enough to really grill our Legislators for fear they will not appear on their network. This is especially true under the current Administration who has made it clear they will try to punish those who don't fall in line and dare to question their policies. Axelrod: Fox News "really not news, it's pushing a point of view" and other outlets shouldn't treat them as news . This is how every dictatorship in the world operates.
Those who Admire Communist, Marxist, and Socialist now serve in the United States Government?
Who decided now at this point in our history we should ignore what these systems stand for? Americans have always rejected their form of governing and considered them the enemy of Democracy. As an Independent once an election is over I always hope the new Administration will do well for America, regardless of who I voted for. I cannot believe that President Obama has appointed people with these types of political views to serve in the United States Government. If it is true that a “man is known by the company he keeps, then what does this say about the man Americans elected President. Will we end up like the people in Venezuela, who voted in Hugo Chavez, who is now a Dictator and wants to rule for life.
You may feel as I do that Glen Beck on Fox News is usually overboard, but he has been on target with proof about the views held by many who have been appointed by President Obama. The following are just a few.

When did the last Reporter Die? It is not a secret that most in the news media are liberals, on the left. Now I wonder just how far left, and beyond most are. It has been obvious since Barack Obama became noticed on a national level that most of those reporting the news lost any pretence of professionalism. They have been unwilling to question or criticize him as they have others in American politics including past Presidents.
