9.8% And Unemployment For All - In "New America"
Friday October 2, 2009 unemployment numbers are poor and no real suprise. Since the start of the Recession at the end of 2007, the number of unemployed has increased 7.6 million.
Looking For a Handout, in “New America”
A new socialist’s country has risen from the ashes of the former Capitalists USA ; I call it “New America”. The population of “New America” foolishly thinks Congress has a solution for the mess government policies created. Citizens just don’t get it, that Government only has the ability to take things away from the people, and doesn’t contribute to the economy of the country. The only change that has taken place is that there will is a new man in the top position, the Citizens hope he will be a Savior. There were two political parties and both were instrumental in creating all of the existing problems. Not one person in Congress has taken any responsibility, or paid for destroying the economy of the country; by overspending, incompetence, corruption, and the funding of pork barrel projects.
Seventy per cent of the former U.S. economy depended on consumer spending. That is spending by the U.S. Citizen buying things supplied and manufactured by other countries, and spending more than they could afford. A very dumb idea, especially when the same Congress approved of sending manufacturing jobs to other nations. Also arrangements were made with other nations to send in their populations to take over the Tech industry where American workers, just aren’t quite smart enough to do the jobs, in an industry they helped create. Others we are told came in to take jobs “Americans would not do”.
I guess I am just old and out of touch, I believe in another Savior, who says he will help those who help themselves. My family has been unemployed in good and bad times, and managed to survive by not living beyond our means, always saving a portion of earnings no matter how much we made, and paying our bills. I never expected anything from Government but that it would protect American soil. After September 11, 2001, I no longer even expect that. I do hope that those of you who are waiting, and believing the Rulers of New America e will provide for your every need aren’t disappointed. Every vote counts we are told, but as long as the Citizens keep the same Rulers in place, voting doesn’t really matter.
