A New Kind of Yellow Journalism Now Exists
The Main Stream Media has become a propaganda arm of the Government. They don’t totally ignore controversial topics when covering Government. They just superficially cover a topic once or twice and move on to the next sex scandal. They are willing to “talk politics”, but not willing to ask “hard questions, or be critical of the current administration”. Why?
Main Stream Media has lost the respect and support of the American people, because of this type of dishonesty (their poor ratings and rapid decline are proof). Americans want both political parties and all Political Leaders to receive the same scrutiny.

The president, in my view, continues to govern in a way that suggests he is chronically detached from the central and immediate concerns of his countrymen. This is a terrible thing to see in a political figure, and a startling thing in one who won so handily and shrewdly in 2008. But he has not, almost from the day he was inaugurated, been in sync with the center. The heart of the country is thinking each day about A, B and C, and he is thinking about X, Y and Z. They're in one reality, he's in another.

Double Standard Disease: an affliction that causes the media to ignore, rationalize or trivialize in order to defend, support and advance the tax-the-rich, spread-the-wealth, expand-the-government agenda of President Barack Obama and his party. President: Last point I would make about this. You know what I think would actually make a difference, Michael -- I think if everybody here -- excuse all the members of the press who are here -- if everybody here turned off your CNN, your Fox, your -- just turn off the TV -- MSNBC, blogs -- and just go talk to folks out there, instead of being in this echo chamber where the topic is constantly politics -- the topic is politics. It is much more difficult to get a conversation focused on how are we going to help people than a conversation about how is this going to help or hurt somebody politically.
We do need to stop watching these bloated opinion networks parading around as legitimate news sources.
