“Green” is not Just a Color - Green is Red
Green is Red
It seems many have forgotten, or never have heard the term “Green is Red”, and what it refers to. Politically there is a red-green alliance of "red" socialist or social democratic parties with "green" environmentalist parties. Both left wing parties have in common, a shared dislike of corporate or capitalist institutions, and wish to destroy them. The "Red" parties preach that capitalism keeps the working class at a disadvantage. "Green" parties say that capitalism causes destruction of the environment, and that the use of green is necessary for the survival of the planet.

Green energy may be possible now on a limited basis but we have not yet solved many problems that will make it practical enough to replace current energy sources. A new study by an economics professor at Juan Carlos University in Madrid ( Gabriel Calzada Álvarez PhD). says Spanish government spending on green energy to boost job creation kills on average 2.2 jobs for every green-collar job it creates. ( Published March 2009 - Study of the effects on the employment of Public Aid to Renewable Energy Sources) The carnage could be even worse, the study says, if job destruction from companies fleeing Spain’s higher energy prices were included.

Will we Really Create Jobs in America or Destroy Them ?
While we must do all we can to protect the environment, and reduce the use of fossil fuels; we do not yet have an infrastructure to deliver and store many of the proposed methods to replace oil, and nuclear energy. We should face the truth that it will take many years of research and building before we can increase America’s households, and businesses use of renewable energy. In spite of promises of jobs, we also do not have a trained work force to build or deliver services. There is also the potential that since Chinese and European firms are ahead of America in this area, we will again create jobs in other countries instead of jobs for American workers. The United States Government and Corporations are great at undermining Americans employment opportunities.
